Routine eye examinations are essential for catching this disease in the early stages. At Summit Eye we have the most modern technologies available for imaging and diagnosing this disease in its earliest stage.
• Diabetes Eye Care
  Yearly exams are essential to help patients with diabetes guard against retinopathy that can lead to blindness. Our retinal specialist is expert in monitoring, recognizing and treating changes in the retina caused by diabetes.
• Routine Examinations
  Our expert physicians will carefully examine your eyes and provide you with thorough information regarding their findings. You will receive a glasses prescription at the end of your visit and if treatment for certain conditions if needed.

Your visit will last approximately 90 minutes and your eyes will be dilated. Dilation causes you to be very light sensitive for a few hours and decreases your near vision temporarily. Most of our patients drive themselves home after their visit, however if you feel concerned we encourage you to bring a driver.
